This site is a tribute to Bruce, who was born in Goldsboro, NC on January 10, 1984. Bruce is married to Crystal Endsley and were together for 14 years and married in January 2007. He has six children: Cella (age 18), Daniel (age 14), Kyla (age 13), Rickie (age 9), William Endsley Jr aka 'RJ' (age 7) and Hadden (age 5).
Bruce honorably served six years in the United States Air Force in Aviation Ordinance. He earned the Air Force Achievement Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He loved everything Celtic (he proudly wore a kilt on special occasions, in the plaid color pattern of the 'George Clan'), knives (avid collector and wanted to build his own forge to make his own knives/blades), prepping/survival readiness, runes stones, raising ducks/chickens and country music. His favorite movies were the Boondock Saints collection and the John Wick collection. Bruce loved being a father and a husband most of all. He was a big kid at heart and had an endless supply of energy that he used to play with his kids whether it was at an amusement park riding all the scary rollercoaster rides with his older kids or playing in the pool, splashing around with his younger kids.
Anyone who met Bruce couldn't help but come to like/love him. He marched to the beat of his own drum and didn't care what anyone thought, other than his wife and kids. His family was the center of his world and all that mattered to him.
Bruce is the oldest son of Rick George and the only son of Gail Diskerud. He has 5 siblings. sisters Heather Campbell, Bekah George, and Hannah George, brother Jason George and step-sister Brandy McCandless. Bruce also has one niece (Eleanor Campbell age 8) and one nephew (Harrison Campbell age 5) from his sister, Heather. Bruce considered his mother-in-law, Eileen Beecher, his second mother and respected his father-in-law, Kerry Beecher and Crystal's late father, Richard Endsley, Sr.
Bruce is much loved and will always be remembered. A person like Bruce is a rarity today. His wife called him her 'diamond in the rough' and described him as the 'kindest, most gentlest soul ever known'. Crystal and Bruce were inseparable- whether it was making a quick trip to the store or going out of town for Crystal's work.... they were always together. Bruce was a stay at home Dad and his kids always knew he was there for them. His loss is felt deeply in every part of their lives but though he is gone, he will NEVER be forgotten.
